What do a 400 horsepower BMW, a $312 billion aviation market, and Austria's latest energy initiative all have in common? If you guessed hydrogen, you're absolutely correct. They're all betting on it, and the bets are getting bigger. Hi, I'm Steve Hill, CEO of NewHydrogen, with this week's top hydrogen news. Let's start with BMW and the return of hydrogen to the open road. BMW has officially confirmed the name of its next hydrogen SUV, the EX-560HX drive.

This model delivers more than 400 horsepower, a range of about 300 m, and refuels in just 3 to 4 minutes. It's expected to enter limited production by 2028, bringing hydrogen power into BMW's long-term mobility lineup. For an industry that once seemed to have left hydrogen behind, that's a serious comeback.

Next up, aviation is also finding its new fuel. A new market report projects that the sustainable aviation fuel industry could reach $312 billion in the coming years, and hydrogen plays a central role in that future, both as a direct fuel for next generation aircraft and as a key ingredient in cleaner synthetic fuels.

Aviation has always been the ultimate test of energy innovation, and now hydrogen is becoming part of that equation. Meanwhile, Austria is putting its money where its future is. The government has announced €275 million in new hydrogen funding to accelerate industrial scale production and infrastructure. A major part of that investment will support OMV's 140 megigawatt hydrogen facility, one of the largest in Europe. It's another example of how nations are moving hydrogen from pilot projects to national priorities.

Across transportation, aviation, and energy, hydrogen's momentum is real. But it all depends on one thing, cheap, clean hydrogen. And that's exactly what we're developing at NewHydrogen, the technology to make it all possible. Our ThermoLoop technology is being designed to use water and heat instead of electricity to produce the world's cheapest clean hydrogen. It's a new way forward that could help replace costly electrolyzers and power the industries that make modern life possible. NewHydrogen is a publicly traded company.
